About Me
I worked as a registered general nurse in Mansfield and Leicester, before moving to live in China and Thailand where I supported my husband in his work and raised our 2 children. On return I did my Return to Nursing course but choose not to go back into nursing. I volunteered giving complementary therapy at my local hospice before moving into care work. I also teach Reiki at all levels, offer Reiki healing treatments, and hypnotherapy sessions. I enjoy reading, music, meditation and above all being outside and walking.

I have known Jane for 6 months when we employed her to help care for my elderly mother from the end of January 2021 until July 2021; at this point my mother’s health needs were such that she needed additional health care which Jane was not able to provide. However, during the period she did care for my mother I can only describe Jane as caring and professional and would go above and beyond in her role, she had a lovely relationship with my mother and I, understanding the importance of communication for a smooth working relationship. Nothing was too much trouble for Jane and she had a very flexible approach. Due to Jane’s experience as a nurse and carer she was able to give practical and medical advice where necessary which was invaluable to us both.
I would highly recommend Jane as a carer and would be happy to talk to anyone if they need further reassurance in respect of the care Jane provides.

I was fortunate to meet Jane when she was caring for my elderly Aunt. At the time I was caring for my sister whom had dementia. Jane helped me care for her after my Aunt passed.
